CENTRAL RESERVATIONS

New in 2010 ..... if you want a break during your exploration of
the island, drop by the pavilion at Bridger Bay (the northern end
of the island) for a buffalo burger, chili cheese dog, Philly cheese
steak or other drinks, foods and treats. Enjoy!
Are you looking for a unique, fun and exciting adventure? Come to Antelope Island State Park and get away from the crowds. Start with a visit to the Visitor Center and from there the possiblities abound.
At Bridger Bay on the north end of the island, you can grab a buffalo burger, enjoy a buffalo bratwurst, or eat one of the other scrumptious offerings at the Island Buffalo Grill. You can also become a fan on Facebook at "Antelope Island Buffalo Grill" - or give them a call at
801-528-8080.
Bridger Bay also has fresh-water showers so that you can rinse off after playing and floating in the largest body of salt water in the western hemisphere. You can camp in the area too.
Mosey on down to Fielding Garr Ranch and hook up with the outfitter. There, you can ride the plains in search of bison and other island wildlife including pronghorn, coyote, rascally rabbits and other critters.
Bring your own horse, kayak or canoe to the marina - and paddle around the Great Salt Lake. Ride your bike across the causeway, or bring it in your car, and explore on your own once you get there. Whatever your mode of transportation, you will enjoy the island's wildlife as well as its picturesque view points.
Come join us for a day and we are sure that you will return!

Rentals of kayaks and canoes are available at South Davis Rental in NSL (801.299.0880) for about $20/day. If you have a rack, that's helpful - they rent them, or you can strap it to the car on foam blocks, which they'll supply. Weber State
Outdoor Program (801-626-6373) also rents equipment.

Bicycle rentals are available at Bountiful Bicycle Center (801.295.6711) in North Salt Lake / Bountiful. Cost is about $50 a day. They also will rent a rack that attaches to your trailer hitch.
